This is your official Victoria Call To Arms page with everything you need to know about Call To Arms in Victoria.

Last year over 450 Clubs participated in Call To Arms, representing 15 different codes and all corners of Victoria.  In addition we raised over $120,000. These funds go directly to funding projects and services such as:

• Cancer Connect: Men with cancer and their families can talk with someone who has been through a similar cancer experience. This confidential and anonymous phone service offers practical and emotional support at any stage throughout the cancer experience - at diagnosis, during or after treatment.
• Tumour immunology research: One project we are funding seeks to find out why tumours in some parts of the body shrink after treatment and tumours in other parts of the body do not. Finding the reasons for this difference will lead to improved cancer treatments.
• Prevention programs: We deliver statewide education and advocacy programs including Quit and SunSmart to help Victorians reduce their risk of cancer and detect their cancer early when it is most curable

 This year we hope to reach even more clubs to spread the word and raise even more funds for Call To Arms.  We hope we can count on you to help in 2011.  Remember, every dollar helps!

The Call To Arms Match

Essendon v Melbourne on Friday 3 June 7:30pm at MCG

We'd like everyone to come on down to the MCG on Friday June 3 as Essendon plays Melbourne in the 2011 Call To Arms match.  Or perhaps you'd like to help on the night. We're looking for volunteers to help, click here for more information.
