Where the money goes
One in two Australian men will hear the words ‘you have cancer' - it could be you, or it could be your best mate.
By joining in Call To Arms, you'll help save the lives of men across Queensland. The funds you raise will help prevent, detect and treat cancers in men, as well as support men during their times of greatest need.
Every contribution, whether large or small, plays an important role in fighting cancer in men by supporting The Cancer Council's important cancer research, education and support programs:
$5 can enable us to provide a newly diagnosed cancer patient with important support and information resources to help them through their cancer journey.
$10 can contribute to running The Cancer Council Helpline, a confidential telephone information and referral service.
$20 can help us train a Cancer Connect volunteer. These volunteers are cancer survivors who provide one-to-one support for people diagnosed with cancer.
$50 can help us fund clinical trials, which test new and better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
$100 can go towards the cost of funding ground-breaking research into the causes of cancer and into new and improved treatments.
