QLD Call To Arms

Welcome to the official Queensland Call To Arms page.  Here you will find all the information on events, competitions and anything else state-based you may need to know about the event and how to get involved.

A huge thank you to the 119 clubs that participated last year. With their help, Cancer Council Queensland raised over $67, 000 to help tackle cancer in men..

This year we are hoping that even more clubs register.  We hope that we can count on your team to help us tackle men's cancers.

If you haven't registered your club yet, it isn't too late. Simply select your state under the JOIN NOW button, click the button and follow the steps.

Queensland's Call To Arms Ambassador

Cancer Council Queensland is pleased to introduce Ben Davis as our Call To Arms ambassador.

Sport stars -- Footballers in particular --  are traditionally strong, fit and healthy young people. They have an intimidation factor and seem almost indestructible -- that's what makes them elite. But it's important for society to realise that cancer affects everybody – not just one type of person. ‘Call To Arms’ is a chance for Sporting teams to utilise their profile in a positive way by reminding people, especially men, that it could happen to you – or your best mate.

It’s just a fantastic opportunity to show your support of the incredible work that the Cancer Council does to increase awareness throughout the community. Wearing a yellow armband is a simple yet effective statement for sporting clubs to make to get behind this important cause.  Everybody knows someone that has been affected.
