Planning your event

Here are some quick tips for a successful Call To Arms event

1. Set a date

If you have not already, nominate a day for your Call To Arms match.  You can hold your Call To Arms match at anytime you want. Maybe a local derby or another long running rivalry? You may get your biggest crowd ever.

2. Promote your match

Now is the time to tell everyone you know about your Call To Arms event and exactly where his or her contributions go, and the good they will be doing.

If you registered online, simply go to your registration page where you can send an email to all your family, friends, club and committee members to ask them to come down to the match with cash heavy pockets or invite them to make a secure online contribution prior to the match.

Once you have registered you will receive a kit, if you have not yet registered you can do so using the links at the side.  In your kit there will be a poster, which has space for you to write the date of your Call To Arms event, and you can place this in the most visible location straight away for everyone to see.  We also provide a ‘Health message' poster, which contains all the necessary facts and figures: the more information people have, the more likely they are to donate.
