Here you can find some pre match and on the day fundraising tips for your club.
You can also raise money online with your personal fundraising page on the Call To Arms website, where your contributions are tallied for everyone to see.
As well as asking supporters to donate to Cancer Council, it's also great to involve them on match day. Some ideas for involving supporters include:
1. Having your players form a guard of honour, and inviting cancer survivors or people who have cared for men during a cancer experience to walk through.
2. Asking all supporters who have been touched by cancer to stand and be honoured with a minute's silence.
3. Asking a local cancer survivor to toss the coin for the start of the game.
4. Asking a local cancer survivor to make a short pre-game speech about what Call To Arms means to them and why it's important to support Call To Arms.
5. Ask supporters to give themselves a round of applause for supporting Call To Arms.
Loudspeaker Announcements.
If your club has a loud speaker then it's a great way to promote the event both before the game and at the half-time break. Check out our suggested announcements below.
